Best wishes on the acquisition of 1K subscribers! You'll get there. Pretty sure this is one of those slow-burn channels that suddenly gets a tub of kerosene poured on it one day. You've got quality content, after all. Interesting to see an all-interior removal and replacement. Can definitely appreciate the benefits of an indoor tank, after my parents just spent five days on a whole-house generator because of that ridiculous storm.

Saw a lot of cool equipment, learned so many interesting details, got to know more about some of the personalities involved.... For a writer, this video is solid gold. We're never supposed to write actual people into fiction, but we still need to collect all of these odd little bits for verisimilitude, and you deliver with these videos. If I ever have the privilege of writing some characters with your profession into a story, Tank Masters Environmental is definitely going into the thank you section. You're opening up a whole fascinating world of concerns, actions, and nuances about which I never had a clue before.

@@TankMastersEnvironmental Yay! Thanks for sharing all of this information and experiential material. It truly is very helpful. (Especially now, actually; one of my stories has an aging space station that isn't in bad shape, just getting maintained. It'll be a whole heck of a lot more interesting if I put the human element into repair and replacement, rather than hand-wave futuristic technology dealing with it. Replacing exterior resource tanks, and who and how... now that could turn out excellently, with plenty of subplot potential.)

An idea for the trailers Putting small helper wheels under the back end deck of the trailer They dont have to be huge Just big enough to roll the weight of back end up a hill Straight bar across the back end of trailer inch below trailer deck two hubs and supports So when back up the back wheels keep the back end of trailer rolling with out hitting ground Its an idea qnd head full of them lol

Apparently you are supposed to use a very catchy title in your video description to get views. Some people do it and others won't do it as they don't want to mislead people just to get views. It is more difficult for a quality content channel to get subscribers quickly. You will get there.! Good luck in learning the new camera. I have to write things down to refer back to how to do things especially when it comes to technology , I find it helps me learn faster.

It’s a good looking job. Two things #1 I would like to of seen an over head pipe to the burner instead of through the concrete floor. #2 I would of like to seen some reflective tape on the Ballard not a big thing just that little extra thing

You'll get to 1000 subs. Itll be a crawl but you'll get there. When you do how about... 36 hours in a 1000g tank? (Just kidding. I'm younger than you and I couldn't do that). Lastly tell Craig his backup with that trailer was impressive.

I’d like to know more about the tiger loop . Is it just for long run single pipe setups or does it make sense for everyone to install one for fuel saving / air removal. Thanks , love the channel.

The Tiger loop New products are continually being developed in the modern oil heating industry in order to satisfy new laws and regulations for environmentally safe and energy efficient oil heating installations. Recent development has led to low-Sulphur heating oil, highly efficient burners using blue-flame technology and condensing oil boilers. This new technology helps ensure optimal combustion making oil heating a reliable, cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative. However, these technological developments have created an even higher demand for clean, air-free oil to ensure reliability in oil heating. The Tiger loop® automatically and continuously removes air from the oil, creating the best possible operating conditions for the heating installation. Gas/air bubbles in oil When oil is drawn up from the oil tank to the burner, large amounts of gas bubbles can be released from the oil. These gas bubbles are released when there is a negative pressure (vacuum) in the suction line. The quality, temperature and viscosity of the oil will also play a determining role in the amount of gas released. This occurs in almost every installation, but above all when oil must be lifted to a higher level and/or drawn through long suction lines. The gas/air bubbles flow with the oil into the oil pump and are the leading cause of breakdowns. Gas/air bubbles also lead to an increased buildup of soot, reduced efficiency, increased emission of harmful particles, unnecessary wear and tear on the oil pump and higher oil consumption. The two-pipe system was developed to try and get rid of the gas/air bubbles from the oil pump. A return line pumps the separated gas/air bubbles together with the unburned oil from the oil pump back to the oil tank. This, however, does not reduce the amount of gas/air bubbles that flow to the nozzle for combustion, which results in nozzle problems (see page 4). The high flow of oil in the two-pipe system (up to 20 times more than what is used for combustion) leads to increased dirt/sludge being released from the oil tank leading to clogged oil filters and nozzles. Problems with two-pipe system The pressurized return line in a two-pipe system is the number one cause of damages due to leaks in heating oil installations. Even the smallest leak in the return line can lead to terrible environmental damages and expensive cleanup. To avoid problems with leaky return lines, countries such as Denmark and Switzerland have already established laws prohibiting use of the two-pipe system. In these countries, the one-pipe system with a de-aeration device like the Tiger loop® is standard. Other countries, such as Belgium and Germany are also in the process of establishing similar laws. For example, the one-pipe system with a de-aerator is standard in most German states and even required by law on new heating installations. New laws and regulations for environmentally safe oil heating installations are leading to the demise of the two-pipe system. Tiger loop® makes a one-pipe system possible for every type of oil heating installation. The one-pipe system is the most environmentally safe method for transporting oil from the oil tank to the oil burner. The advantages of this system will also increase burner efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. One-pipe advantages from the oil tank Two-pipe reliability for the oil pump Between the oil tank and Tiger loop®, the heating installation functions as a one-pipe system. However, between the Tiger loop® and the oil pump, it is a two-pipe system. Be sure that the by-pass screw is installed in the pump for two-pipe operation. The Tiger loop® will automatically and continuously remove air from the oil helping the burner to run more efficiently. The Start/Stop function of the burner is improved as no air pocket builds up before the nozzle. Oil is also preheated by the friction in the pump to approximately room temperature, thus eliminating problems associated with cold oil. Tiger loop® - for environmentally safe and highly efficient oil heating installations The Tiger loop® allows you to place the oil tank below the level of the burner. Air bubbles that are released in the oil due to the vacuum in the system are automatically and continuously removed thanks to the Tiger loop®. By using the Tiger loop® system, only the amount of oil burned in combustion is drawn from the tank. This reduces the flow of oil, which saves filter life and preserves oil quality. Also, with no return line to the tank you will reduce installation costs and eliminate the risk for return-line leakage. An oil pump delivers the same amount of oil irrespective of what is needed for combustion. In the case of a normal domestic burner, only approx. 5 % of the delivered oil is actually burned in combustion. In the case of the traditional two-pipe system, the remaining 95% is transported back to the oil tank. With a Tiger loop® automatic oil de-aerator no oil needs to be transported back to the tank. The oil that is not burned in combustion is lead back to the Tiger loop® where it is de-aerated again and again automatically. For this reason, only the amount of oil to be burned in combustion is sucked from the oil tank. Gas/air bubbles are also released when friction in long oil lines causes a vacuum (negative pressure) to build in the oil line. The more friction, the more bubbles that will be released, causing problems for the oil pump. The result is poor combustion and increased fuel consumption. The Tiger loop® even solves this problem by continually de-aerating the oil. Summary of Tiger loop advantages: • Eliminate the risk of leakage in the return line. • Reduce the flow of fuel, preserve quality of oil. • Less dirt/sludge transported in the system. • Better combustion, reduces oil consumption. • Solve the problem of nozzle dripping causing soot build up. • Provides the best possible operating conditions for pump. • Satisfied customers / reduces call backs. • Thanks for commenting

that whole bollard thing is government stupidity if the homeowner wants one or it makes sense it should be optional how is somebody going to hit that tank?

Worst install I’ve ever seen, just went from a one car garage to a no car garage in three hours. Should have put the tank on the outside of the opposite wall instead of putting that ridiculous bollard right in the way of everything and the 7 foot high vent and fill pipes. Yuck.

Pretty corny sales pitch video. No 1 spray painting, black iron without any sanding and primer on the legs completely useless they will be be rusty within three months. No 2 connecting the fuel line through the topI? t’s only going to lead to more callbacks because of air in the line, which is great for your business. Also, how does that work if you have two tanks in tandem like 50 % of the people do today. No 3 been around a lot of years. Never saw anybody that stupid to use a fuel filter for a foot rest. But I have seen almost every homeowner store, ladders, bikes, etc. on top of the fuel tank, which will easily damage the soft copper tubing that you are so proud of and once that’s broken all the fuel can still siphon right out of the tank anyhow. No 4 you should have advised the homeowner to move that mower out of the way and put the tank over there so you don’t have to look at those two nasty pipe’s sticking out of the front of the house right at eye level and smell the fuel oil fumes in the hot summer as you come in the front door. Plus if there should ever be a spill when filling the tank, you wouldn’t destroy the asphalt driveway. And finally buy yourself a decent selfie stick and hold it eye level so people don’t have to look up that nose must be quite scary in the winter time.
