What about on hair that has been dyed and bleached and dyed again...so actual damaged hair? Not a wig. A wig is likely virgin hair so I can see how this would work well removing a vegan dye from Virgin hair....but has anyone done this on damaged hair that's been dyed numerous times as well as bleached blonde a couple times because developer opens up your hair cuticle and makes it so that it absorbs the dye better. And also natural hair because you cant dunk your scalp in boiling water obviously. If anyone has done this on natural, somewhat damaged hair I would love some feedback whether it worked or not and also if it did, how did you you do it. Thanks! 🙂

this actually works it definitely varies by hair type and dye used etc but for someone who died their hair over and over again where is arctic fox poison in wrath for months a bleach bath didn’t even get as much out as this did! Dries out your hair but feels fine after you put some oil on it! My hair was bright watermelon red after bleaching it and after doing this several times and washing it with head and shoulders after its closer to a light peach! I also really recommend the specific shampoo and dish soap she used in this video especially if you’re getting red or pink out it helps to cancel out that color just a lil bit ❤ thank you for this video

TY for this! I just did my hair, I did 3 rounds and the last round I did multiple times. Added more hot water and kept going. Now I'm more of a rose gold/light brown look. That baking soda ain't no joke tho, it's was very rude to my face, 😂 but im glad I didn't have to use chemicals to remove the red. I felt like I may have done it too long because my hair was shedding bad. I used a moisturizer conditioner and let it sit for about 15 min. I am happy with the results.

Put them in a bowl of just water and keep running your fingers through all the hair, until you feel confident all the soap came out. Dump out the old water and add some more and do the same thing until you don’t see any more soap bubbles. It’s sound like a lot but it doesn’t even take ten minutes. It works everytime for me.
