Hello from Winnipeg. This is the first time I got lazy at the start of the season and didn't do my roof raking ... the ice dams are huge !! Thanks for this, looks like its going to work great.

I need weather like that. It’s a scorching 53°F here, it may not sound hot to you, it may even sound cold to some, but this is Connecticut in early March, and you’d expect temperatures in the 30-45°F range. It’s also really humid, making the heat feel a lot worse.

Salt will damage your shingles. You want to use roof melt.

LOL, here in Arkansas, before it warmed up, it actually snowed again... in March. :p I'm guessing this video was posted around this time or something where it was getting extra cold again everywhere. XD

Salt will damage your shingles use a rood melt or similar products.

Make sure you remove them once the job is done. One of mine broke and killed the very nice plant I had underneith it.

He didn’t mention using calcium chloride as it looked like he used rock salt….damages shingles and house.
