I installed an app on steam called "forager" and avg detected a generic idp in it, and i paid for the same, thanks for the help.

I installed a old cs go and avast Detect this virus The strange thing is that I downloaded the game a long time ago and the virus was discovered a few days ago, but what terrified me was when I put it in quarantine. I went to play CS2 and as soon as I entered it told me that the file was missing. This is terrifying.

ayuda steam no me deja jugar juegos por este archivo ya que el avast me detecta que esta en los juegos , y si intento ejecutarlos sin idp generic me dice que hay una falla en el disco duro. help steam does not let me play games for this file since avast detects that it is in the games, and if I try to run them without idp generic it tells me that there is a hard drive failure.

Simplemente haz el archivo como una excepción, si estás seguro que el juego no trae troyanos o virus no hay problema en hacer una excepción, yo hice eso con Victoria 2 luego de desinstalarlo y volverlo a instalar

Me pasó lo mismo con un launcher que descargué para jugar un juego móvil en mi PC, no me paraba de detectar el virus que supuestamente tenía. Lo que puedes hacer es ir a la página de VirusTotal como dice en el vídeo, sube el archivo ahí, si no detecta nada, entonces haz la excepción y REPÓRTALO también en la página del antivirus que estés usando. Aunque bueno, ya son como 3 meses, pero igualmente tenlo en cuenta para la próxima si sucede algo similar.

@@NfoxFS all you need to do is go through every single download you made around that time and delete them, perhaps even delete most dll's and exe programs and redownload the necessary ones
