Lorrie I did this with my iron and I couldn't get the sticky adhesive off no matter how hard I tried,I had to throw 2 shirts away. wish I had known about the liquid stuff

@@Deadhead21 I didn't receive a reply, but I tried it on 2 different shirts. My husband has a dri-fit and I think I stained the area (also later found out it was a screen print and not vinyl, but it did stain the area of the shirt I used). I didn't wash it immediately after so I think the liquid set in and created a stain. It was a shirt for a previous high school team he coached for, so he threw it out before I could see what happened after washing it. The other shirt wasn't a true dri-fit material, but more cotton/polyester. It didn't ruin the shirt, but the design didn't come all the way off either - only the top layer of color. Could be the vinyl the person used to create the shirt (I didn't create it). So I'm not sure how well it will hold up on a non-cotton shirt, or even after it's been washed many times. Both shirts I tried are over 2 years old and had been washed numerous times, so not sure if that affects what happens or not.
