Just wanted to clarify: what was the base material for the cabinet? I have kitchen cabinets that are particle board laminated in white, and peeling horribly. Looks like the laminate is fairly simple to remove but what can I do next? Would I be able to paint over the particle board, or would I have to get new laminate? Previous owners of our house did a lot of shoddy DIY work that I'd like to fix as much as possible without taking out a remodeling loan.
