One of the best 2.1 systems. I had a z5500, x230, z2300, Edifier s730d, and currently got a Yamaha AMP + two Canton GLE 490s. In terms of price the z2300 really are the best choice, if yoi want some really good sounding and looking 2.1 speakers you shall go for the S730d. Z5500 is amazing but mine blew so i didnt have too much experience, but you cant really compare it to a seperated systme like a Yamaha AMP with some large 4 way speakers.

I am using z5500 in combination with a yamaha amp for powerful stereo speakers and the system sounds like a studio. I made the stereo speakers myself from new car speakers and an mdf enclosure ;)

@@Techscrews in ur test did the z5500 go deeper or the z2300. I personally dont have the z2300, only the z5500. But i never tried boost 11 and never will as im scared of damaging them. But my sub doesnt have as much excursion as the z2300.

they are similar :D But if you mean z2300 vs z-cinema, then for vocal/treables z-cinema, it sound more balanced and clear, for bass, electronic music better z2300, bigger sub give more low freq juice :)

The Z-2300 bass is perfect for using in a (small) house! Only the two sattelites sucks, i bought 2 JBL Controle One (around 80 Euro's second hand) which has a much cleaner sound and much more mid.

The heavy bass part is actually not really accurate. This sub produces very clean and accurate bass, and the microphone is the true bottleneck here. You're not actually getting true sound, it's all distorted. However, these speakers are still amazing and you should still consider them since they are still amazing in 2019.

What a shame, when you actually turn up the bass the sub distorts. New Logitechs and the old Creative Megaworks were the best sounding.

yeah. I think Z523 is better than this. Less distortion because it uses passive radiator. Also Edifier S730 and S550 for 5.1ch.. Those also outputs very less distortion and good amount of bass on it.

noup, z523 is far away from Z2300 sound quality and performance, z2300 is best Logitech system was made from logitech, last one, which use AB class amplifier and Hi-Fi class speakers from Tang Band. From nowadays choice Z623 not best, it is worse than z2300. The Edifier S730 is very good pc speaker, but it cost almost 3x more than z623. For Edifier S730 price you can get second hand Hi-Fi speakers, amplifier, which deliver more acurate and neutral sound. For music very good price performace speakers is Edifier Studio R2800, or microlab solo 9c.

May I point out that he also is recording this with a mic (that we don't know how good or bad it is in terms of accurately getting a wide range of sound) and that he has the satellites pointed away from where the sub is pointing and he has the mic pretty much on top of the bass. Not try to start an argument but just pointing out why they sound a little distorted (in the video). As I can say as an owner of a couple of sound systems (the Z-2300 included) It sounds great in person

Creative megaworks actually distorts at high bass level and the z2300 tangbang 8inch sub wont, the z2300 has a much better bass pipe than most of the cheaper/or same priced speakers like creative (edit Its not a tangband sub:( still good performance for an 8inch sub)

Neeraye Manish Z2300 are the best of logitech speakers, because they are made in time, when logitech use Tang Band speaker drivers. This company made very good quality Hi-Fi and high end speakers. Also Z-2300 is the last 2.1 active system, which use AB class type amplifier, all now u D class, that for music not best choice. Of course Z2300 are pc speakers not Hi-fi, but this model are best way for music from logitech.
