i currently have malware which is creating random behaviours in th user interface - so that it's not possible to access anything on the computer at all. It changes the language settings from English to Japanese when i start typing, it then jumps from folder to folder on the desktop renaming them with nonsensical number/character names, then it enables 'Expose' the show desktop function which interrupts anything you were trying to do (like download antivirus software) - it's rendered my mac unusable. I cannot access Activity Monitor due to the virus interfering to a severe amount so I am going to wipe the hard drive and reinstall the Mac OS. Then I will have to change all of my passwords in case it has some keystroke logger type of thing in it. Ugh! it's really invasive and stress causing. I hope you don't get this - the only answer is to keep your system clean and install antivirus to prevent it happening.

Currently have a notification popping up saying I have tons of malware etc (that’s the malware ad 😂). I went into safari notifications and removed it but I still have 336 items in a ‘Libexec’ folder. Never heard of it and not downloaded any of it but it won’t let me remove it so gonna watch through this video to see if it helps. Btw none of those Libexec is appearing in my activity monitor, launch agents etc. I’ve tried everything to trace it. Nowhere to be found other than deep in disk settings where it keeps asking for full disk access
