So looking at this and thinking about trying to fix up a pair of patent leather shoes, but I do have some worries. Will this dissolve the varnish of the shoe and make the surface matte? Why use the Reno’mat and not the vernis rife?

Hello! I do use Renomat for about 10 years now on Patent Leather and there were no problems at all. It won't make surface matt. About vernis rife. Its cool too. but too soft. It cant remove scuffs.
