How to remove oil stain from a concrete driveway "THE EASY WAY" Part 1

In this video we remove heavy oil stains from a drive way using Dynamite Degreaser from South East Soft Wash we do our first treatment using a 1:1 mix with a pump sprayer let it dwell for 10 min then follow that with downstreaming Degreaser over the whole drive way and rinse with our surface cleaner once we removed the bulk of it we let the concrete dry out and will be back for Part 2 to finish the stain removal

I would never be able to charge my client for those results. Have you ever tried torching the oil out? Use a propane torch and heat up the oil before washing. It'll bubble to the surface. It's like having a heated unit. Anyways best of luck in improving in your techniques

I found out by accident how well gasoline and spill absorbent will pull oil out of concrete.

Baking soda works well for oil stains.

Great job, Duey! It ain’t gonna get much better than that, I don’t care what you use. Dynamite Degreaser is definitely the best on the market. And I’ve tried literally dozens of degreasers

Thanks man it don't help that this was a fresh new drive way poured last summer and that oil just soaked right up into every bit of it plus this vid is part 1 of 2 where I went back and hit it one more time and it looked alot better I let straight just sit in there on an early morning for 30+ min

If a customer would call as soon as the oil stain happens, the results are a lot better. However, I think most people call long after the oil has had a chance to soak in. Then it's too late.

I do power wash for concrete and I use a mixture of two zep chems works well But for oil stains it’s a hit and miss But yes oil stains are a nightmare and customers expect them to erase like pencil mark on a paper I never used dynamite willing to try it

Muriatic acid is the best fastest oil cleaning chemical, it works almost instantly so do small spots

What do you mean 1to 1 is that SH that you applied

1:1 how I mixed it in the pump sprayer 1 gal of Dynamite Degreaser and 1 gal water and then I took that same mix and ran it through my down stream injector wish a Skunk check valve and get an awsome mix I don't know the exact ratio I have but it does the job

"Do as you ought to, add acid to water." But I don't think that pink stuff was acid. I don't know what it was, but it didn't seem to do anything that plain water wouldn't have done.

You had more like a 70% mix in that sprayer because you didn't fill it all the way with water. Then you reapplied two more times...you probably used $50.00 worth of chem on that small drive and killed two hours of your time....what did you get paid to leave an obvious reoccurring stain?...Your application technique has left a blotchy appearance to the concrete...definitely a property damage fail...you should have pre rinsed the surface first to cool it down. Why don't you use 100% Sodium Hydroxide as it is the active ingredient in those overpriced cleaners? At a ratio of 16ozs to 5gals of cold water I could reclean that drive and got that up....Stop drinking the KoolAid...lol, I've been pressure washing for 30 plus years...what do I know, LMAO. Let us know what you charged, and I will do the profit / loss math on this job for you.
