Textured photo print paper was one of the worst ideas of the 70's. You cannot even scan in those photos without losing sharpness on all the trillions of little honeycomb edges.

You need audio, plus you go too fast.

The method described above (without audio) is exceedingly convoluted. Moreover, it is only appropriate to certain photographs. Other approaches are necessary to tackle photographs with strong paper textures.

Those eyes will look horrible in a larger print. Do not add texture and then remove just some of it.
