Finally admitting that I need to hydrate with more than bloody mary's while skiing :D, I did the lemon trick on my other one and it worked like a champ. Still a hint of something but much better than previously.

Just got a new water bottle with a silicone seal. Have tried boiling, baking soda, etc. Not great success. Definitely going to try your method, thanks for posting this. Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate the video!

Thanks for the tip! Tried it without freezing but it didn't work too great, I'll be sure to try your method next. What if the hose is the one that tastes weird, do you have any advice for cleaning that?
