I have a Singer Confidence that I have been using for years and has served me well. Last month I broke a needle and the machine jammed with the presser foot down. I fussed and fussed with no success and decided I needed help so I called a local sewing machine repair shop. The gentleman asked what make and model I had and then told me to just throw it in the trash because it wasn’t worth saving. So I turned to KZbin and found your videos. Once I cleared the carnage of fabric and thread away from the presser foot I was able to lift the presser foot up and down. But it still was making a mess. I watched your video regarding the bobbin housing and I followed along step by step. THANK YOU! It worked and my little Singer sewing machine is humming right along. God Bless you and your family Merry Christmas :)

This is the only guide that mentions all the various clips and that you need a pry tool. Thank you for your help with my borrowed *Curvy 8763* 😁

Thank you. Just like laptops, and car door cover removal. It is easy to rip the covers off and end up with broken parts and loose panels. The machine will never be pristine again. With the prybars AND to know what needs to push down is critical.

Thanks. I just ordered these from you. I have the same machine. I need to replace the foot control jack harness. I pulled the screws and decided i needed to look into this more. Im glad that i did. Thank you

After countless U-T vids that realy weren't helpful, I spent 3 days trying to undo all those plastic clips & that one little hidden screw. I share Ronald's concern, maybe beefing them up with the "super glue & baking soda" vid you did. I'll be looking into that...Thanks for this vid.

Trying to get to the spring on the back for the feed dogs that I think broke. My local repair shop wants $129 to repair it solely based on it being computerized. I ordered your pry tools, so wish me luck!🤞

Thank you so much. I spent an hour trying to open a Singer 2259 but your video gave me the missing Informations. Fortunately I got those pryingtools - for opening stuff in a car.

thanks for this! i've taken apart my machine before (exact same one in the video) for a deep clean, and this reminds me it's time to do it again. i used different colors of nail polish to match up what screws go in which hole. i've bought the pry kit, those latches are tricky.

I picked up a Brother LX2763 very reasonably at a thrift store. Motor runs like a top, bobbin winder is perfect.... but something strange is going on with the feed dog movement - I'm going to need to open 'er up. This video was very helpful, thank you! Also, oh my goodness, when you got that open..... SO. MUCH. LINT! I'm fastidious about cleaning my machines but I wonder if there's a big lintball packed deep in there that I'll find when I pry it open!

Update - someone had fooled around with the feed dog height adjustment screw, which was a tiny hex screw. Hardest part was finding a screwdriver bit to fit it! It runs like an absolute champ now!

The endoscope might be helpfull to see clips. When you get some of them open, put something in the gap.

Would you find it bizarre to use two different embroidery machines and get the exact same thread breakage problem on both at the exact same spot? I have an Innovis 4700D and a 6000D. I pooped a cotton navy blue piece of fabric with stabilizer and a 5 x 7 hoop, I then used orange cotton/polyester thread in the bobbin as well as the upper thread. I was trying to embroider somebody’s name. A pun starting the 4000 D machine, it started at the upper part of the curve in the J and then proceeded to the very top of the J. At that exact point the thread broke and was shredded. Not a clean break. I had been having issues with this machine, even before I packed it away. So I decided to put this one away and get out my 6000 D machine. I left the fabric the way it was in the hoop use the same hoop and the same thread in the new machine and hit start. it went almost to the exact stitch number on the 6000 the machine and the thread broke again. I cannot see this as sheer coincidence. Can you what do you think is happening here? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Please please help.

Any chance you know how to remove the cabinetry near the head of a Singer Legacy c440. Unlike the one in your video, there appears to be no screw that holds it on.

They're designed to turn as much profit as possible, to discourage learning to fix it yourself so you'll have no choice but to buy another one then another and on and on.

I am hoping you can tell/show me how to remove the top cover on a Singer Creative Touch Fashion Machine 1036, The stitch selector is not working and to get into that mechanism there is a knob with a lever protruding to the right. I can send a picture if that would help. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I have a Brother XM2701 and I cannot figure out how to gain access to handwheel. It's jammed and won't turn at all. There's nothing in the bobbin case and it's the bobbin winder is not engaged, so what else could be jamming it. I mean it won't move even a cm!! But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get inside of the. Machine to figure out what's wrong! I'm on a fixed very tight income and cannot afford to have it repaired and I need my machine! What can I do to get inside and find out whats wrong? Thank you so much for any advice you could give me😊

This is a horrible machine. The Singer patchwork machine mostly comes with a timing problem. People use this machine with too heavy fabric that messes up the timing. Oh by the way, I sooo hate the clips ... Great video!
