If you check the threading, check the bobbin, check the thread tension and it still happens, change the needle. I’ve had that happen several times and it was always the needle. Please don’t mix religion in your content. Christianity is not the only worthwhile religion. It says in the bible your faith should be private and not on public display. It is self serving and has nothing to do with faith.

I just purchased this machine for the keyhole button feature for historical clothing. I own a Janome Harmory 4052 that I purchased at Sears when I was 20yrs old.

Not a Singer. Singer in name only...it's a Phaff. Google Phaff 260 and 360. Singer and Phaff were bought by a huge conglomerate. They relabeled Phaff to Singer.

I'm a beginner with sewing machines, but I managed to oil one of these easily and even fix the timing (not as easily, I had trouble finding good references). We have 3 of these in the family and we're pretty pleased with them.

The machine I have is 206RB -3. I machine can get a small piece of string on the bobbin and it will lock up. I'm taking mine to get times properly. Thank you. This video showed the same symptoms.

Hi! I love your channel! I have a Designer Diamond that was a gift two years ago and I recently opened it up to start sewing again, hopefully full-time but for some reason, the pressure fit does not come down. I press the button and it makes the sound and nothing happens and I’ve tried to just start sewing, but then the warning comes on that the pressure foot is too high. L O L. I cleaned out the bobbin area and assume there won’t be much else to clean, but I would like to clean the area and check out where the printer hook comes down. I do not have a manual that tells me what the problem could be. Can you help me?

Never liked Singer. They always do a messy stitch and sound clunky. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased this machine new. Returned it to the store a week later and purchased another brand.

Has anyone came across the 3 beep issue? Pedal connected keeps saying to de-press, but no sewing/action other than 3 beeps. Same with start/stop. Nothing, then 3 beeps. Would help a ton.

Another excellent video. I appreciate that you take your time when speaking, and provide clear pictures that show exactly what you are speaking of. I have a beginner sewing student who is Spanish speaking, and your videos are still very helpful because I can provide interpretation for her, since I am an interpreter practitioner. One laugh that you gave me, in a previous video you said “the lightbulb went on,” and I rewatched that portion of that video many times, because I thought you were referring to the lightbulb on the machine. LOL I have of course, interpreted this idiom for my student, and she too, had a good laugh. Again, great videos.

Hi please could you do a video on Janome 2200XT disassembly as this is something I struggle with and how to get service manuals. Your video tutorials are so helpful breaking down complex machine issues. Its now like how to take all the different ones appart I find difficult, finding all the hidden screws.

This video has been an eye opener for me. Didn't think about how to find out if the problem was the upper or lower thread until now. Thank you! It is most frustrating with intermittent occuring errors. My maschine can work one minute as it should and after just turning the fabric, everything goes just wrong and I have a birds nest behind the bobbin. Now I have tested to make button holes, but neither of the programs work. I will try again now, but use different colours on the upper and lower thread, because it's not only that the button hole programs doesn't make button holes, I get a birds nest also. But now I know the importance of using different colours while trouble shooting! Thank you!!!

Hello, there! I have a Singer identical to this, but it is called Stylist 9100. Appearently my maschine has inherit the same problem as I see here! But, the other day I learned that you need to have the preassure foot in down position when you thread it. In down position the tension plates are on but when the foot is up there is no tention at all in the upper thread. I testet it and it is a fact, tension is on with the p-foot down and it has to be down while threading. Now I will watch the remaining of this video!

thank you for these videos. I am not fond of the super speed sections. I learn from watching so I would rather watch the long version at normal speed. The fast video/audio sections give me a headache . I could speed a section up easily, if I want to. I also don't like the rolling quotes at the bottom. It is distracting, visually and creates confusion. Right now, I want to learn from you about sewing machines. Like the old song said they will know we our Christians by our love (not by our repetition of scripture). Your giving of this information is very kind. Thank you.

you completely lost me when you put that creep text with the biblical crap crawling across the screen. I came to learn about sewing machines, not to be preached at with bible crap. Because of that I will NEVER watch another one of your videos. I'm agnostic. I am also a former seminarian so I know the ins and outs of biblical preaching. I also happen to know that the vast majority of the bible is a lie. Furthermore, the bible is NOT the word of god. The bible and everything in it were written by the hands of man and is a creation of man, not god. As a seminarian I studied the bloody and gory history of the church, studied church doctrine, studied theology and learned about the precepts and concepts of the bible. I've read, studied and learned about the bloody history of the bible. Most people preaching, including yourself would have us believe that the bible's teachings are benign and that we have a loving god. How many hundreds of millions of people to billions have died at the hands of religion since it first came to the world? We will never know. But Hitler's genocide of the Jewish People is only a tiny drop in an enormous bucket of religion that's filled with guts, sweat, tears and above all, the blood of humankind. All forms of religion are nothing more than a form of control created by people with an insatiable need and desire to control those around them. I took a close and very hard look at religion and studied many different facets of religious factions from around the world. I saw nothing that could convince me of an existing spiritual deity that is benign or loving. Every single strand of religious faction are filled with centuries of blood and gore that makes our bloodiest recent wars pale by comparison. You should NOT have posted your religious ideals on your videos. You lost me as a viewer and a possible patron because YOU chose to do that. I'm not coming back so viewers can say whatever the hell they want about my comment. They are welcome to their opinion. They do NOT have the right to judge me or my opinions.
