How to remove Printhead in Canon Pixma MP560 MP550 Printer

This is a quick tutorial on how to remove ink cartridges and printhead in a CANON Pixma MP560 printer.
Same process for the following similar printers:

I'm getting an error B200 on my MP560. What can i do to repair it? Will changing out the print head fix this?

I just got a canon mp560 off of market place and first run it said 6c10 error I've cleaned the head and put new ink in but it wont go away .....help! lol

I do not know for sure what it is. You may try removing printhead, turn printer off and then on. If error goes away and printer asks for a printhead to be installed, insert printhead only. Do not install ink. After that if printer is asking for ink, install one at a time, closing the printer after each cartridge install. If one cartridge triggers an error, you will know which it is. If that doesn't work, shine some light into the printer and see if there is any pieces of ripped paper. There can be jammed pieces on the side. Also check the clear strip in the back of the printhead carriage to be clean.
