I’m doing this now. Trying to lower it some. Gonna put some gbody springs in and see what happens.

it looks easier than changing a bulb in any car produced after 2000s XD

@@RidinDirtyTX was it rubbing on the lip of the fender or more than that ... because i read somewhere to run the wires you have to trim the inner lip ... im mainly asking because i was just about to lower mine on springs and run the same wheels you got on there on the same car but mine has the wood panel sides ..i was eventually going with bags or hydros .... but i guess the better question is what all did you have to do after you bagged it to clear all the way down lower than factory if it was hitting with the lowering springs and are those wagon or sedan rear springs
@RidinDirtyTX4 ай бұрын
@@durtysouthkustomz8862 In order for the wheels to clear I had to bend the inner lip up the fender up. I cut multiple slits and folded it up with a rubber mallet. I couldn't use the blue springs in this video because the car itself was physically too low and not driveable. The springs I put back on were factory wagon springs. The one's I tried on were G Body lowering springs.

@@RidinDirtyTX oh I gotcha so basically just cut the lip out the inner fender and I will be fine I was just going to put lowering springs for the caprice on it but the ones everyone says not use because it puts it on the bump stops I just want it low then I’m going to either go oldschool fast bag setup or hydros

@@durtysouthkustomz8862 see how it sits before lowering it. Depending on your tire size you could be at 24ish diameter over all, that's close to 3" lower than stock off the jump.

Was your tires having a hard time lifting off the ground when u try to jack up before u changed them? I'm having a similar problem

@@RidinDirtyTX do you know if the wagon springs are any different than the sedan ..... because ive read that they are ... but i can only find 94-96 caprice and impala lowering springs ... not wagon and sedan
