If you are having issues of Remote Play connecting to your secondary account, follow these instructions. You must change your primary account on the PS Settings to your secondary account, so when the PS wakes up, it uses that account, and then you can switch over. PS5 Steps: Select the "Settings" icon > "Users and Accounts" > "Other" > "Console Sharing and Offline Play > "Enable" PS4 Steps: select (Settings) > [Account Management] > [Activate as Your Primary PS4] > [Activate]. I would also recommend turning off HDCP (what allows you to watch movies, videos, etc.) select (Settings) > [System] and then clear the checkbox for [Enable HDCP].

My problem is that it doesn't let me switch accounts to my main one, once the console is booted. It says that you cannot change accounts while Remote Play is active. So I don't know how to use my main account without the message while Remote Play is auto booting into the secondary account.

THIS IS A TIMING ISSUE, PUT THE PS5 IN REST MODE FROM YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT WHILE CONNECTED ON PS APP, RIGHT AS YOU LOSE CONNECTION ON THE REMOTE PLAY APP... RECONNECT IMMEDIATELY. THEN, WHEN YOU HEAR THE BEEP SPAM THE PS BUTTON ON YOUR CONTROLLER. (Main account MUST be set to log in automatically) HOPE THIS HELP

Tip is: 1. Turn on PS5. Log in and Connect Remote play 2. Put PS5 on rest mode (it will disconnect on PC) 3. Use PC to turn back om from Remote Play while simultaneously pressing the PS button when its turning on and it will read it as its connected to both remote play in pc and wireless through PS5 You can also go between accounts without any worry of it appearing or removing you from remote play

Thank you ! I`m perplexed that sony is trying their best to ruin a good feature with not letting you just remove the Remote Play Connected shit. Hope this works for awhile, was so frustrated after they fixed the "change console language" trick :S

Finally, Update 24.03-09.20.00 allows you to turn off "Remote Play Connected" badge in settings

how did you do it ? It doesnt work for me how exactly does the account situation have to be ? I got my main account I wanna play on I got a remote play account so whenever remote play starts it wants to go into that account and as soon as I switch into my main where I wanna play the message appears.

@@acesan1998 kind of need a little bit of luck and timing(it depends on how fast your remote play links up to your ps), so just connect remote play normally first ,then disconnect it, stat up the remote play app and stand by. switch your ps to sleep mode.then, while your ps still haven’t completely go into sleep mode, you try to use your remote play app to connect your ps, then you will hear a bip sound and your ps will be turning on again, before your ps is completely turn on, you turn on your controller. If things go smoothly, you will see you have logged in to your remote play account and you can control through your controller, then you can switch to your main account and enjoy your hard work (you might need to adjust your timing about “when” you should start your remote play connection due to your network quality and you may need to try it few times to get the hang of it) Also sorry if you found my pronunciation hard to understand, English is not my mother language

Timing is very important here! The only thing that worked for me was sending it to Rest mode then clicking for waking it up right away and then pressing the PS Button as soon as I heard the beep! Before that my main account was set to log-in automatically and I sent my PS5 into Rest mode from the main account, not the Remote Play one.

Try to switch to different user and then switch back. Remote Play Connected didn't appear after switching, but all buttons started working in games

This worked well, kinda. When I logged in on my laptop it did turn on properly with the remote play connected missing but it signed me into my second account that I use for my remote play so when I switch to my main so I can use my controller the remote play connected comes back. Any tips?

@@RansomGotYa This worked for me TYSM, man! Ily! yeah, also enable automatic sign-in to your Remote Play account (the account your PS app is signed in too). Timing is also very important! When you wake up your console you have to press the PS button before if finishes booting up! Then all you have to do is switch users to your main account!

i use the remote play to stream so i have to use my main and my alt and it worked when i turned it on my alt account, but when i switched accounts and connected my controller to play on my main it came back sadly :(

Try to setting your primary account as your alt account! That might work for you. Just look up how to change your primary account on ps4/ps5!

You gotta go to settings and make your main account login on startup then when you turn it off and back on let ps app turn on your ps5 but turn on your controller before it actually finishes booting. So when you turn on your controller the ps5 recognizes it once it gets to the menu but doesn't show the login screen then thats when you change your account.

I know this is 3 months ago but after the remote play app takes the PS5 out of sleep mode and it begins to turn on, at what point do you turn on your controller? As soon as the light turns blue or before that? Mine doesn’t seem to beep when I go through this process but it does come on

Dont suppose you know how to get it go off the portal? I’ve tried this but when I enter rest mode on the ps5 and it loads back up, it asks me which account I’m logged into on the ps5 then it looses connection on the portal

@@KingOfSnub what I mean is that when I activate two controllers at the same time in PS Remote Play mode, I can't remove the banner. When I Iog Off, one of the controller will be off, and i will only activate 1 controller, though the banner is off but I can't play with my friend. When I activate the second controller, the banner will re-appear again.

For me to play on my account i have to log remote play into an alt account and that's what's making the message show up

Correct. You have you set your primary account as the alt account and then it will open your main. This video does not go over that.

I did try without it plugged in, you just have to wait until the orange lights appear for Rest mode before turning pressing the PS button.

@@KingOfSnub OMFG! It took me a while because I didn't know that from the moment you put the PS5 in Rest Mode you had to be spamming from the PC and when you heard the "beep" you would also spam the DS5.

@@julianfernandez4022 yah it’s all a timing thing. For me I start about a 5 seconds after I press rest mode and it works everytime. But I’m sure it’s slightly different for every person.
