I have the same issue I have the headlights kept getting water inside I endup replacing Both headlights on my seat that cost me €840 for both headlights , but 1 year later the new headlights also began to show moisture inside its annoying I think there’s a design fault , I now remove all back caps from my new headlights and that solved the issue

Realy? But that black caps are something like seals. They should keep the moisture and water outside the headlight.

@@VladGeru That's right normally the sealing valves should keep water from getting into the headlights But I removed all the valves And I have 0% water or moisture in the headlights I also wash the car regularly no problem I have a Seat Ibiza of year 2017

Hello and congratulations for the good work. I have the same car and I have coil over suspension, so it’s a little bit lower than the normal. How I can adjust the height of the lights because the spot of lighting is very low on the road???

Thank you for you're kind words. I have same problem with the lights. You have on top of headlight 2 screws. One is for low-up and second for left-right. Allen screws.

The procedure for removing the headlights seems quite complicated. I have a Leon SC fr phase 1 with led headlights. Do you think it's possible to put those from phase 2? Thanks ;-)

I think it is possible, but I think that you need to modify also the wiring harness.

Is it possible to change normal headlights to LED ones? Do I need online plug a connector sockets to them and will they work?

Yes, you can upgrade your headlights to LED, but you will need new harness, autoleveling sensor and maybe other components.

A new pair of LED headlights will be very expensive. Open the hood and on each headligth you will see a part number like this for example: 5F1941007B. With those codes go to a local store and order it.

You can put LED headlights, but you need also new electrical arhitecture, new autoleveling sensors and other parts. Very expensive procedure.

When undoing the 19 mm nuts on the top of the light, they are not screw-in how did you manage to loosen them? I’m trying to do mine at the moment.

The 2 x 19mm nuts are screw-in in headlight. With a 19mm wrench you should unscrew them.

Hi Thanks, managed to do it by removing the black metal brace above the light. I found that the 19 mm hex on the top was locked in to a another 21 mm hex underneath, that screwed into the headlight. I was really easy to remove the unit once the metal bracket was removed. Cheers J

Salut. Am un leon 3 din 2016 non facelift cu farurile full led. Un far mi se abureste de ceva timp si am crezut ca nu e ceva grav pana cand am observat ca a ajuns sa se abureasca cam la fel de tare ca si la masina din videoclip. Problema e ca astazi la spalatorie am observat ca si celalt far a inceput sa se abureasca foarte putin. La primul far aburit am incercat sa lipesc eu crapaturile dar degeaba. Am auzit ca aceastea ar avea ceva in spate pentru dezaburit care se poate infunda( nu stiu exact cum se numeste). Ce parere ai? Trebuie inlocuite amandoua?

Salut! Farurile LED este normal sa se abureasca foarte putin in partea de jos. Si mie la Leonul meu 5F 2019 cu faruri full LED se aburesc dupa ce spal masina. Daca ai crapaturi la unul din faruri si nu reusesti sa il izolezi ma tem ca trebuie inlocuit.

This headligth had a crack. The only solution was the replacement.

@@nickdegroot2445 In this case check if the headlight has the protections where you change the bulbs. If they are tight then you have a crack and you will have to replace the headlight.
