With your guidance, I can now ditch the OEM animal skin steering wheel and get a recycled non leather LX steering wheel. Wish the steering wheel was as easy as the shifter, but it's important and worth it to me to have a vehicle as devoid of animal abuse/exploitation as possible. THANK YOU!!! You rock!

It's the exact same process except the 10th gen has screws to remove the airbag.

I need to disconnect the battery for a project. Did you have any issues with the radio asking for the code or have any warning lights come on & not go away after you reconnected the battery? I’ve read on the civic 11 forum that some people have had issues when reconnecting their battery. Thanks!

717 PROJECT love the build so far, i have a bbp hatch with the cvt. Love the car, love the color, just feels lacking in power. I haven’t found many ways to make a safe but fun increase in power so if you do end up turbocharging it you’d be a game changer! Keep up the build though! Coming together very clean!

I switched out my HRV steering wheel. That thing was nearly impossible to unbolt, even with a breaker bar. There were release tabs for the control harnesses that were hidden behind, had me scratching my head.

Also, for those that don’t know, I believe when uou remove the battery terminals, it's negative off, positive off, and the positive on, and finally negative on. This is for safety, and potential to cause expensive damages.
