Great! Now my brain is trying to figure out how much time I've wasted sanding out burnt edges instead out cutting off a hair and routing again. Great tips.

Great tips. I've been using a sandblaster or a wire brush, but the shave technique is better.

I have burns in a deep area that I routed out with a bead bit. Tried sanding of course but that doesn't really work and is way to cumbersome since we are talking about many yards here.. I was thinking that maybe Caustic Soda could take care of it, bleach it off so to speak.. Anyone tried that?

Guess when I use my router, I'll make two passes then. One every so slightly higher, and then ever so slightly lower to remove the burn... This is genius... Why haven't I thought of this! :|
