Did you watch the video? I mentioned that I removed the cabin filter why running the generator and was replacing with a new one. The old one is of course saturated with smoke.

@@iowabuckeye I did watch the video. Was trying to help. Just must’ve missed that part you had mentioned. That’s fine though. I hope you had gotten the entire smell out. Hope you continue to have a good rest of the week

All comments are appreciated!! Since ozone only works on organic odor, there is still a faint smell of ‘something’ present. But the pungent smoke smell is gone and my daughters are happy!

Use Fumairx fogger for the car. It is the only way to get rid of all…I mean all…smells for ever. Smoke gets in every crack and absorbs into everything…ozone generators are good..I have one and tried this decades ago. It just does not get in all the cracks or surfaces that have absorbed the smoke. Fumairx saturates the air and all surfaces and chemically bonds and neutralizes them.

In all the research I did, Fumairx did not show up as an item that destroys odors permanently. What is the science behind it? How does it 'chemically bond'? I just looked it up and it is an aerosol on par with may other 'scent killers' available out there. Some of the reviews for it said it left a residue. As for getting into all the cracks, crevices, and surfaces, ozone is a gas at the molecular level. It gets anywhere a 'molecule' can get (which is everywhere). The science is it oxidizes the molecules which are producing odor.
