This video helps a lot, but when I enter to delete the minor's Apple ID, a request is supposed to come to me since I am the guardian, but the request does not arrive!!

I tried going through this process twice to delete the child’s account but what this video fails to show is that Apple wants to delete the organizers account during this process. What would be helpful in this video is to actually go through the process so you’ll see it doesn’t work.

THERES A LOOPHOLE ! Like so everyone sees!! Sign into child account on web. and request an age change you will not be able to change it to 13 but will be able to change it 12yrs and 363-364days. so you will have to wait about a day or two to remove it from family. Then you’ll get an email on the organizer account and will have to approve it!! I just did it today! Had it at 4yrs old and now 12yrs old so I have to wait a day. 🤞🏼took me months and hours of vids and nothing till I thought of this I was so happy when it worked lmao! I almost smashed all my Apple products and switched to android from the frustration. No need to delete account or none of that!! Good luck!

We tried to move our kids from one family sharing accont to another and the owner of the old account got an email that said that this child want to switch family sharing group and to proceed just press the get started button but there is none! tried to open the mail on another browser but to no avail. strange

I am running into a similar issue. I'm trying to transfer my son's account to my wife. I receive the email with a "View Request" button to approve the transfer. I open it on an ipod that i have (only apple device under my account), but it says "The invite cannot be viewed from this account". I have confirmed that I'm logged into the device through my own account. So, was wondering if you ever figured a way to get the transfer done. BTW, I moved back to using Samsung. I really can't figure out how apple gets away with making such simple things so complex!!! and people still stick to them??? ;)

What if someone in my family is asking me to join their family sharing and I’m skeptical. I am 48 but I am curious if they’re the one that’s in charge, could my private info be shared to them? What exactly can be shared? Can they change my age and stop me from leaving family share?

We use both family sharing and find my phone. I have deleted all parties or disabled but for some reason the organizer can still get my location. How do I stop my location from being tracked?

I want to change my age in the family plan without my parents noticing, and without deleting my account. Is it possible? I almost 15 and my age is 11. I’m doing this so I can take off “ask permission to download apps”

If I'm not the organizer in family sharing, will the other person still be able to access my location even though I deleted them from my iPhone? I have deleted everyone from my family but my location is still being tracked.
