do it if you haven’t already! Just bought myself one. It will look after you if you look after it properly! Easy to modify, commonly tuned or forged, parts are cheap and they look amazing!

What's the best way to get your vent ring back on, because I'm stuck with mine off ATM haha

The door handles that open the doors from the inside are removable, it was a pain, even after practising on a scrap corsa in the scrappies, but I did get mines off, sprayed, and back in without any damage. The back of the handle (on the other side of the door card) has a spring that needs removed (keep it as it needs to go back on to retain tension). The backside of the handle also has a vertical drop that is sleeved into a hole located on the door card, that's what holds it in position. Long story short, I used a butter knife to remove the spring via leverage, and then the flat of the blade to press the handle out of the sleeve. It was a royal pain, and getting the spring back in was quite a challenge too, but definitely manageable. I took a few pictures at the scrappies as reference, I can send them to you if you'd like. Sorry for the wall-of-text, but I just wanted to ensure you knew that it's definitely doable.

jamjar91 I managed to get the springs out etc but couldn't get the handle its self out and the spring to get back in to put it under tension was time consuming and frustrating to pop it back in lol

Hi, any ideas on how to remove the side panels either side of the obd ii port? I want to plug in a scan tool but the obd port is stuck in the hole so need to get access to it from the side or back. Many thanks.

Hi mate, have you had any issues with the passenger airbag light? I removed the middle trim to install a double usb port in between the two middle vents for a stereo but when i disconnected the connector for the passenger airbag it constantly flashes and will not stop even if you hold the button in, i just wondered if you had the same problem (just incase you disconnected yours) and if so how did you fix it? I had read somewhere that it was because i'd started the engine before i'd plugged it back in and that i need to get the code taken off etc. Cheers mate.

plasticsman10 hey mate, no I didn't have that issue and it is usually caused when you do turn the engine on when it is unplugged. You will have to get the light removed with a obd 2 port reader but if you buy one you can do it yourself with an app, check out my other video on this "error code reading " for the app name and a link to the blue tooth reader. Vauxhall charge £60 to remove the code

see the black panel surrounding the hazard button and central air vents, does this come off without having to take out the air vents? I've taken off the airvents to spray them and i've put them back in so dont really wanna take them back out

hey bud - i want to spray my black plastic speedo cover - but it seems to have some very thin black film on it which is flaking off. was yours also flaking off??? and if so - how did u remove the flaking film before spraying it blue??? does anyone else have a similar problem with theirs??? cheerz!!!!!!!

MR V I didn't have any flaking off mate it sounds like the existing plastic finish is flaking, If you want a smooth finish I'd send it all down so it's smooth mate

ok thanks. im not sure y vauxhall apply this black film - coz the plastic underneath is black anyway. im gona try soaking the cover in hot water first - maybe it will help it peel off naturally.

Alright mate, wanted to DM you about this but guessing you have DM’s off. Want to spray a few bits in my SXI as I’m having a bit of fun with it till my NCD is good enough to get a VXR, and it’s practice I suppose. Did you prep the bits you took off? Haven’t painted anything of this type, and the paint on the dash where the Speedo and that sit is peeling, so I was thinking it may be best to lightly sand it down? Also what paint/lacquer (if used) did you use or recommend? And what you did about the smell of paint also, Thanks!

reece dixon my dms are on mate, I did prep them mate i used paint preping wipes, along with halfords grey primer and clear lacquer also the colour of choice was matched to the outside thro halfords colour code spray cans too, u can lightly sand the parts down to get a better bond but I didn't need too
