You guys should do video on replacing the shower steering assist module. Cause I am currently having some issues.

The spade fir hirn has to be bent down or horn will blow constantly. Going back in second time the angle makes it hard to push socalled spring. I had a screw driver and hit end hard and it snapped open. I opened the other two tabs from side. Some have to be hit quite hard. Hope you have better luck.

The Allen key goes in at an angle pointing towards driver. The Allen key has to be fished through hole in plastic and then through hole in the clip. Air bag has three big clips. I screwed up and did not find the sweet spot so I pushed back the cover and pushed the springs in on two sides and it released without doing anything to the third clip. Video is misleading because the clip has been removed. Don't be shy about making hole bigger to use bigger Allen key because it's pretty hard to push in.

Can you pull the airbag fuse to diasble the airbags? I plan on removing the front seats to vacuum and extract the seats and carpets.

If I replace a 2008 Ford steering wheel with a 2009 Ford steering wheel will I be able to use the voice control, volume buttons, etc on the side of the steering wheel

My problem is I can pull the steering wheel completely out without unbolting. I bought the escape used but somewhere along time someone removed the steering wheel and damaged the upper most bearing almost right behind the steering wheel. I know weird but, I can see there use to be bearing there. Steering wheel pull out with the shaft its attached to. How do I get a replacement bearing? I went to my local ford dealear and they could not help

Buen día , tengo una Ford Escape xls 2012 2.5l Aut. Y me presenta un tronido al girar rápido el volante a la izquierda y derecha, cuando pasas por caminos risados o baches se escucha un golpeteo de algo suelto, ya le cambié todo lo que es suspensión y dirección junto con caja de dirección y cruceta inferior y superior y se sigue escuchando, he escuchado que según es un balero que va en el volante pero no sé si sea eso. Si me pudieran apoyar en ubicar la falla se los agradecería.

No matter what I do, the airbag just won't go back on. The top goes in slightly and the bottom bit pushes the spring up, but it just won't click in. Removing it was HARD, too. It wouldn't budge until I used a giant screwdriver to push up on the spring. I even lined it up correctly and used my foot to push it on and it goes in but the bottom just won't click in. Any ideas? I'm thinking of shaving down the tab on the bottom, but that's the nuclear option

on pulling the wheel off. I used my knee under the wheel and my left hand on top to pull and just zapped it with an air chisel came right off.
