This goes for all the Total Technik Audi how to videos: incredibly lucid. Lessons for all other youtube presenters begin at video #1 and continue to video "x".

Thank you! That is genuinely very much appreciated. Yes, we do our whole system as modular rather than include the same content at the beginning of loads of our video's. This means that we don't needto remove and refit things five times to film the same thing five times, or no need to edit the exact same thing into multiple video's, and betterfor the view as if they already know how to remove (example) their stereo, they can just view the stuff they need. Some people don't get the modular system, but thankfully those are in the minority :-) It couldn't really be much simpler. Everything is there for the viewer - just click the links to view any extra bits you need. Like, you say, proper A, B C stuff :-) Really appreciate your kind words, sothanks again! --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Please ensure you subscribe to our KZbin channel. 2) Please give our video's the Thumbs Up on KZbin. 3) Please help spread the word, the more people who know about us the better! Hi there can u tell me if 2012 Audi A4 station wagon has amp and sub?
@sarahrosher53259 ай бұрын
I know this is a very old video. But Can i remove just the amplifier (grey box section on a4 standard concert stereo) without the speaker underneath and swap it like for like? Or do i still need to remove the whole unit?
@BrickTop0865 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great videos! Your video gave me the confidence to do this myself yesterday 👍 However, I was trying to upgrade the standard Audi amp and replace it with a Bose unit but the connector pin on the current one is too small and doesn't have a pink clip over it either. So spent all that time removing the unit only to put it back in and so i'm now running all my Bose door speakers from the Audi amp. Is this fine? Do you know if there's a way around this? Thanks :)
@TotalTechnik5 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Yes, the main plug on the Bose unit is different to the one on the standard unit. It can be done with some DIY wiring, but not the easiest job. You can use the original amp to drive the Bose door speakers no problem. It will give an improvement in audio quality for sure, but not quite as good as coupling them with the better Bose amp :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! @@TotalTechnik Hi, ok thanks for that. I'm gonna need to get that wiring sorted and connect it up then. Will it make a drastic difference to the sound or just the bass?

Does that amplifier also power the other speakers or does the amplifier only power the subwoofer?

@ ehsan zabihiseasan I fixed my buzzing sound issues by installing a “groundloop isolator” Between my car radio and amp. www.highlite.com/en/d1526-agi-101.html
@ehsanzabihiseasan4 жыл бұрын
@@psy100trance psy100trance where exactly did you install the ground loop isolators ? I tried that actually, I connected in-between my RCA connections coming from the radio and going to the car. It help take the wining and buzzing down butttttt it also effected my sound quality great . Almost as if it just turned down the volume to the whole system and just masked the problem as go actually fix it, took them out and returned them. Any insight on the buzzing problem with our cars @total technik ???
@psy100trance4 жыл бұрын
@ehsan zabihiseasan, I connected my isolators same as you did, total 4 rca plugs (front and rear) on my Kenwood DNX7230DAB, other endings to my Bose Amp in the back of my Car.

Any chance of a video on how to remove the drivers door interior panel and window control switches? Would be great! thanks for the awesome videos 👍
@TotalTechnik8 жыл бұрын
Hey there Yes, we've already done the vide on how to remove your door panel (door card). Check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oarUo5ppaN97brM We've not filmed the switch removal yet, but we will be (it's already scheduled). But to remove the window switches you indeed need to remove your door card first. To make removal of the main switch a little easier you can unscrew the entire handle from the rear of the card (torx screws). You don't have to remove the handle, but it's a little easier if you've not done it before. The switch does just pop out (downwards), just locate the tabs and work at it. You'll get it :-)

Hey there! Thank you! Yes, you can retro fit most things into these provided you get the wiring correct. Be sure to check on size, possible mounting position etc before getting stuck in, and check the power for the factory and aftermarket units etc. If you matahc everything up correctly you should be fine :-) --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Please ensure you subscribe to our KZbin channel. 2) Please give our video's the Thumbs Up on KZbin. 3) Please help spread the word, the more people who know about us the better!
