Step one...place your board on the grass, on a towel, or other soft surface so as not to damage the underside. : - )

I keep a propane torch and flash over the wax. Warms it and most will just run off when you tilt the board. I do it over newspaper and when the wax re hardens you can mold it back into a block and re use it a couple more times. I’m cheap.

When should i remove the wax from my board?
@fernandomaron879 күн бұрын
When the wax is pretty old or when you want to do a paintjob on it
@ethantryon70494 жыл бұрын
how long do you leave it out in the sun?
@doublestrokeroll4 жыл бұрын
Depends how hot it is. I find if you leave it too long the wax gets too liquid and runs around the board a bit, making it more difficult. Usually I put it in the sun until it gets fairly soft but still holds together. Take it to shade and remove. Repeat if necessary.

How would you do this with foam boards?
@leviwilson39312 жыл бұрын
You don't really just don't wax a foamy to often they don't need it as much
@watzbaer2 жыл бұрын
@@leviwilson3931 sorry, but it really depends what surface you get. There are pretty slick ones

To make sure that it’s not slippery when you try to stand up. The bumps made when waxing help to create a surface for you to stand on. Hope this helped. :)

If you don't know how to scrape the wax of your board you probably should stay on land because every surfer learns that when their little kids!
@marksargent2908 Жыл бұрын
Duh, like yeah, but not every surfer starts when they're a kid.
@RotorSpotter_7 ай бұрын
Sure, and everyone learns the difference between "there," "their," and "they're" when THEY'RE little kids!
@fernandomaron879 күн бұрын
Some guys start older and some kids start on foamies that don't necessarily needs to wax out.

I mean, do you really need a video to teach you how to scrape of wax off your board? I don’t actually think there is an incorrect way you could go about if you apply a little bit of common sense……
@lukehallman58943 жыл бұрын
The thing about common sense is... It's not that common.
@michaelspellman62642 жыл бұрын
Do I purchase this common sense in a surf shop? Should I apply it directly to the board?
@waves72502 жыл бұрын
It Comes free with natural selection aha But seriously if you cant work out how to apply and remove wax from your board do you really have any hope working out the complexities of surfing and the ocean
