Hi Sinon……..sorry I’m with Destiny on the silver vents!!! Also I’m gonna build my own new Defender….. I’ll just remove parts from other new Defenders with my plastic tool!!! I’ve never seen a vehicle where you can just pull stuff off it!!! Incredible!!! Regards Ian 👨‍🎤🇳🇿👍😂

@@L663JLR must have shares in the Plastic Clip industry….i also am surprised that so many plastic fixings are strong enough to get through crash regulations…the outer panels must pop off very easily in a crash! 😨😨🤔🤔🫣🫣😃😃

I like the contrasting vents - my silver D4 has black vents and the silver vent on the black Defender does look good to me. 👍

Destiny is right………. I remember when PowerfulUK first started my first purchase from you was a set of body coloured side vents in 2006 for my then 6 months old L320 TDv6 RRS 2.7 SE……….. looked so much better with them than the matte grey plastic from the factory. Never bothered with my 2007 RRS TDv8 as the factory OEM vents matched nicely with the Stornoway Grey car!

I've seen vents on the white Defender 130 First edition, where the outside is silver and the inside black... Would be nice if you can buy them from Land Rover, but I haven't found them just yet.

Color aside, I really do the idea of having these parts available so that there is an option other than the gloss black that comes with it for those of us who do not emphasize gloss black on our Defenders.

Maybe more of a gunmetal than a silver. Still contrasting, but not so "in your face" contrasting. Gunmetal would also work on a grey, white and red vehicle and be more subtle than a black contrast.

Stig has been in captivity for a while... he needs to be let out into the wild... actually we have been busy fixing the house in France after the storms and some family stuff has limited my free time ! George will be back from uni soon so we will go on some adventures when he is back !
