Thanks for your help! We used this tutorial today to change my brake lights. We have the bottom portion of the lights working, but the top half of each brake light is still not functioning after changing the bulbs. Any ideas?

Oh ok check ur bulbs again if the connector got 3 wires is dual filiment bulb and 2 wires is single also the clear part is reverse light

Start with replacing the bulb and see how that effects it

What do you mean “huh?” I explained it perfectly. Rewatch your own video. You mention the entire light panel needing to be replaced but did not go into any further detail why. Luckily another users video was actually helpful and explained that LED panels need entire replacement if one bulb goes out, while panels that take regular bulbs (non-LED) will still work with individual bulb replacement. Simple but incredibly essential information that your video failed to provide.

The lights that you said are LED and would need the entire assembly replaced if they go bad, The tiny tail light bulbs above brake lights... Don't you just wiggle those out and pop in new ones?? The auto stores sell those type of bulbs as well... The assembly for each is costly, I don't want to do that if it's unnecessary

Nvm, I had to go through the trial and error phase. Mine is a 2017 kia soul+ 2.0 L, those 2 tiny bulbs stacked above the brake lights do simply wiggle out and pop back in so I've taken care of mine, but I've found it might be different for new models. I was nervous, definitely didn't want to spend 200+ for each tail light assembly because the bulbs are $7 a pack 😓😓

No they r led some use 194 bulb but not this one u need assembly

There is no LED light on my 2014 Kia Soul Base model...the running light bulbs are small and replaceable as easy as the other bulbs!!!
