How to remove the driver's door interior trim panel on a 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

In this video, Pro Auto Spa owner and master technician, Ryan Smith, shares his knowledge on how to properly remove the interior trim panel on a drivers door of a 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe. This may need to be done for hail damage repair, large dent repair or for an advanced, invisible installation of paint protection film on the door. The interior trim panel would need to be removed in order to remove the door handle or side mirror prior to PPF install.

Thanks for the excellent video. Took off the passenger door panel on my 2019 GTS using the method and tools you describe and successfully changed out a blown speaker. A few notes for people doing this the first time: 1). There are a bunch of tiny metal clips behind the trim piece at the top of the door that is removed. They can fall out during the removal process. Gather them up and snap back in to have a tight fit when replacing. 2.) Once the door comes off there are two cables loosely holding it on, one is an electrical connection which is easy to open and the other is a door latch cable with a small plastic holder. They are easy to remove. 3.). I broke one or two plastic connectors inside the door. Door went back on fine but be careful when removing. If you are really compulsive you can probably get the replacement connectors cheap from the dealer, although the door went back on fine and appears like new.
