How To Remove the Front Bumper Cover on a BMW Z3 M Roadster

Really helpful, I was wondering how to remove the eight clips without damaging them. It helps to see someone do it. My bumper does not quite line up with the wheel arches. slightly in on one side and slightly out on the other, not sure how to overcome this but taking the bumper off is the first step. Thanks again.

Mine has a similar issue with the alignment. I'll make a video when I'm ready to install it. As far as those clips are concerned, the trim tools are invaluable. The 15pc kit that I bought was roughly $10 on Amazon. It was really a no brainer.

I’m finding your videos most helpful, keep up the good work. Just wondering if the height of the bumper cover is adjustable. The gap between my hood and the front quarter panels are large. Any ideas?

Thanks I try my best! I believe that it is adjustable. The best way to adjust is with the bumpee cover installed. If you pull of the wheel liner, you should see a bracket with 3 nuts. You could loosen those and play around a bit. You could also try loosening the T50 torx bolts that hold the bumper shock absorbers. They are accessible from underneath.

Looks like for the M roadster you have to take out the headlamps, for the regular non M roadsters YOU DO NOT. You might want to mention that, anybody that misses the letter will add a considerable amount of work to the job which they do not have to do.
