I have a chronic pain condition and you gave me the motivation to borrow my friends bike which had the front wheel taken off. I've just loosened the front brake to get the wheel back in and managed to get the wheel in place and handle the level. No tools needed. Thank you!

Just bought a beach cruiser, newbie and just wanted to casual ride/workout. This was very informative and helpful. I have the brake pad caliper thingy that connects the slot, but not the little caliper mounted on the wheel. I would have to unscrew the nut to remove the wheel.

Awesome!!! I scored an Iron Horse hardtail mountain bike from a thrift store for $50 and got the front wheel off so it could fit in my car - but only because the tire was flat + squishy. Now, trying to inflate the tire, I was stuck trying to release the break pads. Thank you for the vid!
