How to Remove the Grill from an Aston Martin DB9

Thank you - assume the Vantage is almost an identical method. Keen to know how you'd get the small screws back into the very tight inaccessible corners. Can the lower grille be removed without having to take the bumper off?

Aston1936 its a 2005 and agree, many of the early cars have this issue. I have seen some upgrade to newer version grill.

I'm considering replacing my DB9 Virage grill with a plastic honeycomb version but I have to cut it from a sheet any tips?

New grill (which would be a 5 bar, not a 7 bar) I've been told is $1,200+. Looking to save mine since I'd like to keep the 7-bars if I can. 7 bar grill no longer available from Aston.

Nice video, my grill is in okay condition but the plastic mounting frame is cracked just like yours. The frame is available from Aston as a replacement part. I paid $200 but have not installed. Waiting for you to show me how. Love your garage and lift!

Hi Robert. What P'N was the plastic surround? HWM england said they couldn't supply it, but I wonder if they are assuming I want the grill/bars and not the surround.

A 7mm ratchet spanner makes things considerably easier.
