@@SCOPENTHOSE I dont sadly! However if your switch works or it tries to move the shade back but it does not then that works. If you hear the motor then its not the motor but cant rule it out yet! Is the shade fully closed?

Checa las mangueras de dren, el audi en el que estoy trabajando tiene ese mismo problema, basta con desconectarla y destaparlas con un alambre

Problem occurs , because the plastic runner plates is too short with respect to the distances of the left-right metal guides. If there is differences of friction , due to dust and sand, you will get this issue. The glass moonroof is stiff , long as it is wide. But the courtain is just these 2 short runners. (solution is a technic with guides each with steel spindles and bronze runners in it, but it is costly)...........Same story if you compare the deep and narrow drawers in your office desk and the wide and short kitchen drawers. The drawer in the office desk never got stucked. You work very hard here. Thanks for sharing

Me too dont have to remove the roof trim just lower the back section , I have now done close to one hundred of these in Audi and VW models like the Tiguan / Skoda . On average the longest I take to do the whole change over from start to finish is around 1 hour fifteen minutes .

Muy buena instruccion, veo que cada Audi es deferente. En el caso del Audi A3 2010, la cortina es manual, se corre halandola y se asegura con un clip que desafortunadamente no es el mejor sistema. Con el tiempo el arco para sujetar y halar la cortina , se rompio y no hay como asegurarla, yo ordene la parte, pero qusiera saber por donde empezar para reemplazar este arco , hay que quitar todo ? se puede simplemente solatr la cortina y volver a enrollar ? . Muchas Gracias.

Excelente lavor . Yo me dedico a la estetica automotriz y en ocasiones me toca hacer trabajos masomenos asi. Claro hasta hoy no he realizado algo como lo que tu haces. Pero seré honesto , aveces no se cobrar por mi trabajo. Lo mio es la estetica en pintura y limpieza basica, ahora ya me estoy metiendo mas en la tapiceria y desarmando los tableros e i teriores de las unidades , pero no se cuanto cobrar. Hi, quick one, did you have to glue the fabric with the metallic spring? Am having a vw cc with sagging sunroof shade. It appears there is a rail that the metal passes through and the fabric needs to get attached to the metal else it will sag.

Francisco el procedimiento y cuánto Cómo reemplazarlo de una tiguan 2009 es muy similar tiene que quitar el techo y en algunos no estoy seguro Exactamente en este sí tiene que quitar el vidrio pero en algunos se puede hacer con solo quitar el techo ahí se remueve la cortina y ahí se pone la nueva cortina sin remover el vidrio

Son muy similares ya VW haces los audi le recomiendo que cambie la cortina siendo que puede dañar otra partes del mecanismo del corredero si no remplaza a tiempo.

It needs to be reinitialised its abit tricky but you need hold the button for a bloody long time in the close forward position after a while the blind will take off to the rear and then come back to the close position that then resets the roof as it should open all the way by a single pull on the switch and the same for closing . Just remember do not remove your finger when it takes off until it does the both rear and forward movement . If you stop while doing the reset you have to start all over again . Also from the electric side there is ONLY one plug to the motor at the rear nothing else .

Not sure if you have found the part or not. There is an alternate part number you could use if you are shopping for an aftermarket replacement. 1K9877307B. The only difference is the on the clip. Otherwise, it works just as great.

I have to remove the headliner in my 2015 Q5...I think the motor jumped a gear or is out of time on one side after getting snagged on a canvas chair bag that was strapped to the roof rack rails. One side sits higher than the other and it was bound up. I had to drill out the rivet on drivers side rear linkage to get the roof to sit flat. Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you again for doing this. I'm amazed that there is nothing out there in English...
