How to remove the logic board from an Apple Watch. This is a tear down of the 42mm series 1 Apple Watch.
There is no perfect way to do this. Every device will present itself with different challenges.
After having remover the screen and battery you will need to remove the screws and carefully remove the logic board. It will be adhered in more than one place. Take your time and be careful.

Great video, Saved my A** for sure. Battery pushed up on screen and slightly ripped cable, i ripped it more taking screen off. Lots of pitfalls in this repair.

My series 1 crown dial was different then in your video. Yours had a silver insert that you unscrewed with the pliers but mine is black and doesn’t seem to unscrew. Video is top notch tho. Everything was smooth up until I got to removing the crown.

Hello, I am following this video and all was going on until one of the screws (the one in the corner where the taptic is holding down the logic board ended up stripped. I can't get it out. I tried the rubber band idea, I tried gluing in a screw driver too and didn't work. I am at a stand still. How does one get a stripped little screw like this out?

I’ve done exactly the screen change,. But the new screen some times is Bright normally but wen I try to fix in the frame with double face glue, the display get not bright, may be there’s a problem in the flax cable to the Main Board ? What is the spare part the some time cause Display is working but not Bright? It appear like a 30% to de real bright. And doesn’t matter try to go to adjust to put +++ bright , because it do not affect the display to work as a 100% off bright ! Any suggestion ?

I was replacing my battery and took the screen off for the adhesive, at 0:49 where you take off the screen with the two connectors and the bracket on top came up to reveal the 4 solder points, I didn’t think much of it till I put it all together and it buzzes but the screen is unresponsive and I think it’s becuase I lifted that piece up off the solder points but I’m not sure can anyone help?
