My debit card dropped past the brake like getting sucked into the ATM. I only had to remove the 4 bolts and raise the parking brake. Lifted console from rear and saw the card laying in the bottom. Awesome video! Thanks!

Just did this procedure myself, very grateful for the guidance! A couple notes since we don't see the console removed in the video. I didn't realize the front seats must be fully forward and locked in the most upright position to clear the back of the console. Though unbolted the console is held down by 3 retainers on the automatic transmission shifter side which requires a bit of upward pressure to clear. Notably, the 3 wire harnesses from under the passenger seat aren't going to clear themselves. Carefully slide them from under the seat mount to prevent damaging them. Lifting from the back things are still pretty tight between the seats, parking brake handle and shift rods competing with each other for clearance so a little squirming of the console will be required. Thanks again for posting this...

Awesome this was helpful. Thank you for sharing more info. At the time stamp 0:52 I did explained about pushing both seats up and also from 3:40 to 4:30 I explained about retainers inside the gear shift and the plugs under the seat. But again more info means more information.

FYI: *You can also be in park and don't have to turn on the power on to enable the gear to move. After pulling up the boot/sleeve. There is a white tab on the SE corner of the gear shift press and hold that tab down and downshift to D drive*

After you pop the red locking mechanism then you have to press the black piece where it was locked into and pull the plug outwards. “So press and pull” might need two hands but yes it’s a bishhhhhhh because sometimes they are just a pain to push and pull at the same time

Are you able to just remove the back panel above the rear seat cup holders? I want to add a pair of USB ports and a 12V plug to that back panel. Also is there enough space between the inner sheel and back shell to do this? I figure there is since the upper trim levels have the rear power plug and USB ports there. I might add another USB inside the deep cubby space inside also.

For several reasons, for me I needed to put a aftermarket auxiliary switch right pass the gear shift where it’s a blank space so I hard wire under the center console and installed a auxiliary right there.
