Hi, thanks for this informative video . I got it to work on mac os 11.6.2 : the key provided on screen works only if you download the old 9.3.22 x64 dmg . All versions above this wouldn't work . But now that i can see what the app is capable of doing, i feel like i want to buy the 2022 version :) . Now i can use my old LiDE 60 Scan over mac os which is crazy ! B-)

so if you use windows firewall to keep the program from accessing the internet you never have to re-enter the code when you start it up

My computer thinks the .exe file is a file for SWF & FLV Player and automatically tries to open it using this application. I can't work out how to make it install. I'm using a Mac. Any ideas??

thanks for the quick response, did everything as per your instruction but still doesn't work, tried reinstalling it, ran it without internet connection, blocked it on my firewall, still nothing happens after pasting the keys, it doesnt turn into "ok".. :(

Thank you for your quick response. I searched further and found a newer version with a keygen and that worked for me. I'm glad that I don't have to throw that scanner away, just because they don't make drivers for it for newer versions of Windows.

How about the karma of companies from whom you purchase an expensive item, in good faith, and expect it to last ... only to discover one day that you have - but don't have - that item anymore.. despite the fact that the actual machine is in perfect, impeccable condition?! I have a beautiful scanner without a scratch on it, that worked perfectly for a few years.. and I have tons of old photos, slides and negatives that I was putting together for my family since I have plenty of time and no money (having to live on social security because employers just don't want to hire the elderly, plus.. pain).. and lo and behold, my scanner no longer has driver support with my latest operating system upgrade!! ... I believe that anyone who has even a basic sustainable standard of living would be happy to purchase the software, but not everyone has to choose between heat and technology, or food and technology, or medicine and technology! So it's a God-send when someone comes up with tips to help those who can't help themselves. Do you think that anyone would actually WANT to go through the hassle of removing watermarks from every photo if they could pay a few bucks for the real deal? Hell to the no! .. In the old days, we bought a TV or a vacuum cleaner or a stereo, and we plugged it in and expected it to last for years. We weren't held hostage by companies that can and will kill your possessions with a remote switch. For example, I purchased the Adobe Creative Suite years ago, which cost almost $1500 at the time.. it is not only my passion (restoring and enhancing old photos in Photoshop), but it is also a must for my writing, website, and promotional materials for the animal rescue shelters that I volunteer for (Indesign), and my graphics (Illustrator)... Lo and behold, Adobe got the bright idea that instead of letting people buy the software, or keep using their already purchased software, they could gouge us FOREVER by forcing people to go on the Cloud with a very expensive subscription.. I repeat, FOREVER! Without Creative Suite, a scanner, and a printer, I have nothing! .. More power to the people who have incomes that allow for software and appliances and subscriptions to every Tom, Dick and Harry company and website.. but for those who are living at subsistence levels (a huge segment of society, and growing by leaps and bounds) sometimes they have to get creative, as pride and integrity faces compromises one never dreamed they would have to make in their lifetimes. .. I believe that companies that have good, or popular products (such as VueScan) will thrive regardless of a few penny ante pirates who wouldn't be able to purchase the product anyway (although they likely will if their circumstances ever improve). The biggest threat to a tech company is rival tech companies. .. And speaking of karma, those who judge others are asking to find themselves in similar situations because karma isn't only about the transgressor, it also applies to the one who judges the transgressor! (and just for the record, I am not downloading VueScan, but I am not going to criticize those who remove watermarks, because I understand why they do it)
