After marking with the purple brush tool and then clicking on the eye icon (with layer 1), it's not selecting the purple region. Why is it so?? And because of this, I am not able to see the Content-Aware option. Any help ??

Simply Click once on the logo and then hold shift key and click other end of logo.

do you have the main layer in focus? not the one with just the selection? that's what happened to me often. forgot to click on the image layer before

@@AKCreatives1 Nah that isn't what I'm saying. I did the technique and nothing happened other then purple brush lines being applied over the top of the image

@@GregTurismobro click command/ctrl (depending on ur OS) then click the little square where it shows the lines you just made
