How to remove window tint glue from the rear window

Steamer gets the film off. It did not help with the glue.

Simple Green full strength...used it for years...spray on let sit for a bit then use a scrubber...amonnia to strong for a customer car...

I just had to remove the tint on my Kia forte. I used the 409/Trash Bag/Sun method and had no glue residue to deal with. I’d say my back window was the most difficult. It had to come off. It was bubbled up so badly you could barely see out.

I used a heat gun from harbor freight just heat the glue and razor it just don't let your fingers touch the hot glass

A spray bottle with soapy water and 000 grade steep wool will work no dramas.👍
