Yes it is definitely possible. It is the same engine, but the job requires a lot of accuracy in details that I cannot list them here. To make that change, study the subject well or consult an expert. Please check and note that this may be considered illegal in some countries.

You can even use the injected engine and change it to carburetor (along with the harness and flywheel)

Hi There are all kinds of patents, some based on a magnetic detector that you need to install on the front wheel, and some based on GPS (and will not work for you if you are in an area without satellite reception (let's say in a tunnel).
