Looks great overall, but I wouldn't want to paint over good consition ceramic tiles nor install an insert bathtub. You can get a brand new bathtub for less than half the money you spent on the insert bathtub. I do like the sink. Nice job painting the sink cabinet as well.

Great job on this! I like how you painted the tiles instead of replacing them. In this industry there are so many ways to save money. People just need to think outside of the conventional ways of doing things that they're familiar with.

I am so glad i live in the UK, you can buy an entire new bathroom suite for £300 , tile paint i have used before and cost about £50 for the whole bathroom to be painted but peeling off the tiles and replacing with budget white tiles was not that much more. It did look nice at the end but a lot of money for second hand when over here brand new bathrooms, fitted and decorated by yourself would be about a third of that.

+Searean Moon If you've been planning to do it, DO IT! Having done the painted tile and spruce up routine and then had to live with it for 20 years, we finally did it right and the bathroom looks stunning. If you can afford it, DO IT!

Went shipping at Home Depot the other day for a new vanity/countertop/sink. The vanities run anywhere from $500 to $2,000 ALONE, nothing included. the sink that she bought are the in thing now. $2000 for en entire bath changing the vanity, counter, sink paint shower door. Color of the tile and tub is a pretty good deal. If you get bath fitters in it could cost anywhere from $2,000 to 5,000 depending on personal preference.

The sink plus granite top with wood vanity in my area only cost $500 for the entire unit. This is definitely not a budget project.

Well I have painted tiles in my bathroom and it looked great. In the beginning. After a while, cleaning it with bleach and water to remove the molds caused the paint to crack, bubble and peel..

You could get the tub and tile professionally refinished for little more than that tub insert + tile paint. Will be worth the extra money when your paint isn't peeling off in two years.

Before painting tiles I"d scrape out the old grout and put in new after painting. Painted grout looks bad, in my opinion. Other than that, looks fantastic. That bathtub cover is brilliant.
