Yes, its kind a risk to pay in advance as there are a lot of fraud, so its better come to canada get an Airbnb for a week then move to a place

Yes, sometimes some owners ask for all those things but if you mention that you are a new immigrant and student then they sometimes don’t ask for it and if you are getting house in Vancouver or metrotown yes you might find a queue bcoz of high demands
