I have 4 deck chairs... 2 newer 2 slightly older. I can see the difference even after laborious cleaning, and it annoys me, I was seriously thinking about replacing all four of them next season 🤨.....I am so glad I took the time to look up a better option .....THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR VIDEO 🥳

Amazing how a little bit of paint fixed all of the wrinkles and saggy foam.

Emil Metzger the bright covered the noticeable wrinkles. But, if you have saggy foam you will need to restructure the vinyl and re staple. I am also not a professional vinyl expert. I just wanted to share a method that came off very successful. 100% happy

I’m planning on doing 3 bass boat seats. I’m changing color from a faded light blue to green. Will the paint scratch off? How durable is it. I’m looking into the SEM Product line. They have a soap, a pre treatment, and the paint. But it will cost me $75 to $90. That’s why I’m looking at other methods. So, how did yours hold up?

From my experience sem is the best .It’s all in the prep use some detergent and soft brush and scrub it several times get all dirt and grease of the seats rinse dry then mix some clean water and a few oz of acetone and wash the vinyl again rinse and dry completely then spray . Make sure all vinyl is totally clean before applying any coating and fully dry . Don’t forget to use sem clear also

I used this on my pontoon seats. It looked pretty good. After we sat on them one or two times it completely flaked off. I had spent about 180.00 total on paint. It completely ruined the seats of my pontoon. Over the summer the top of the seats cracked deeply and what once needed a refresh, now need replaced. Please don't paint your vinyl seats.

First you need to prep them correctly . And you need vinyl dye not paint and then vinyl clear coat ,if you use a quality product and prep correctly it would last and not peal

As with any paint they're only water repellent. While there are a few used for continuous submergence they too have to be re-coated at some point. But for your question specifically; if the coverage is thorough and there are no holes, seams, and tears where water can penetrate it'll just roll off the paint. So be thorough and you'll be just fine.

When doing a how to video make sure not to show people exactly the steps you are doing and shut the camera off and skip the process of paint masking and prep that way people will want to know WTF you are doing . Sounds like you got this down pat
