In this video I show how to repair a liftgate lock actuator. The problem I was having is my liftgate would not lock in my Dodge Journey. And this is how to repair and fix that problem.

Also used 10 foot pounds on the bolts.

Well, if you could just take it apart and look at it like I do in the video you should be able to tell. I don’t know of any quick way without taking it apart.

@@rodrigoaraujo83 So I was able to fix the problem. For me, when the trunk is opened, the braid on the left side of the wire connection, the electricity of the lock is broken, and a few other wires are what caused the problem for me

Because of the braid of the electricity every time you close and open the door, the connection is probably broken, check, you may have the same problem as I had
