I have a gemmy life size dancing santa 2021, but it doesn't move its head mechanism and i don't know why, how can i know if it really works

Another thing that i need to say is when i bought it the santa claus "doesn't work" but despite every i bought, and the stass give me a adapter of 12 flips, but the santa needs 9 flips, i don't know if it affected the santa's head mechanism
