I have used the same stuff for several different types of repairs and it works pretty well. I Have a wish they made it in yellow I would use it on one of my tractor seats. Have a great week Bob. God Bless!!!

Try plasti dip it comes in yellow I used the black version to repair my mower seat.

That repair will keep the seat from cracking further. I had thought about trying to repair a tractor seat that way. I ended up buying a piece of the cold weather vinyl for snowmobile seats and the like and just recovered the seat. I pulled the edging and the original seat cover and used the heat gun to help stretch the vinyl and put the edging on. Took a couple tries but it looks great. Not bad for 18$

Tractor seats are really expensive, so it is worth trying to save them. They also make fabric seat covers.

Looks much better. I've had good luck with some repairs on my camper using the Flex Seal Tape. Got it at Walmart.

I know that red tape by itself will out-gas pretty quick in the sun, so I think it'll be interesting to see how well it will hold up under that seal, Bob. It sure looked pretty good on camera, that's for sure. Thanks, Bud!!

I won't be holding onto this tractor, so I don't know how long it will last. Not sure how the Rustoleum is under UV light?

Hey Mon Ami Looks good so far.. I wander how that would hold up to the heat in the summer time when you are sitting on it and maybe showing on your work pants ??? What about that stuff on TV called FLEX seal rubber stuff in a spray can and the roll on tape they HYPE up ?? Let us know....... Ok I want to know how you like your Mity vac pressure tester...... If not more Bob . Parts is where the money is . When i worked for Toyota a filter say for a v6 Camry was about nine pound plus tax at 20% . The dealer got about 50% markup . Iknow for a fact the price Toyota paid was about twenty five pence or sixty cents US.

No we got things figured out. I helped a buddy install a 25HP Honda in order to replace an onan 20. The only problem that we are having is that the Stiner Tachometer gauge is not working. I think the Onan had a tach. on it somewhere and now the Honda does not so the needle gauge is not working. Do you know how we could get it to work? Thanks

doublewide6 Repairs LLC you can get a electronic tach and replace the mechanical one there is one that you connect to the coil and that should work. Good luck your friend joe

They should make all seats so they are covered in fabric. Some of the big manufactures are doing that now, but not everyone.

Turns out there is still a leak. I only coated the inside, so I have to decide if I should try the outside or get a new pair. I think I'm going to go new.

You can get that tape at walmart for 5 $.
