Hi Eric, I sent my osprey aether 65 back for repairs at the 10 years mark. In addition to the repairs, they replaced my shoulder straps and hip belt. like new pack, only downfall was having to have it refitted and break the new straps in. 😅

I'd sew up that big hole on the side before applying the patch. 10 seconds in a sewing machine will strengthen that up so it won't catch, snag or rip any further.

Street cred sounds wrong somehow, shouldn't it be trail cred lol Gorilla tape works good too, bunch of different types to choose from. Don't know if it would be effective on an air pad

Eric, you mentioned your dog as being the culprit for the jacket tear. Any suggestions on how to keep my dog from puncturing a hole in my Nemo Tensor sleeping pad when in the tent? I think that's my greatest risk since I don't have a camera man... (great video, by the way)

Trim their nails and have a blanket or thin foam pad to cover your inflatable pad if it's unavoidable that they step on it. My dog was more of a car camping type and was happy with her separate dog bed/sleeping bag which helped keep her out of my quilt unless it was extremely cold. RIP Sasha you were a good girl.
