How to Repair Battery Corrosion (Leapfrog Discovery House)

A friend sent me this toy from Leapfrog as it no longer worked. It suffered from some battery leakage and was cleaned with vinegar. However, it did not resolve the problem and more had to be done...

Thanks for sharing! I've got some electronic stuff with corroded batteries that don't reapond to isopropyl alcohol. Will give sanding a try.
