Very good.. I would think there would be some old grease dirty to clean off.. what type of grease is it special vicosity ? Great to know how it operates but few more details would be better.

If you are going to impart information you should give it all. Many many years ago in my apprentice days it was given to me to repair all record playing units including auto players. The one piece of information this pretend I know all is the name of the grease, it is called "Kilopoise" available in small tubes and in a number of different thicknesses.
