Welcome back from South Africa. It is a known fact that you cant please everyone. Forget the negative and just do what you do. I have been a independent mechanic sins 2009, and I work on all cars and I rely on you guys with you tube channels for daily information, because we all know cars change and change and change all the time as they are manufactured. You can NEVER learn everything out of a book, experience is how you get to know things. Never stop.

Hey mate just had a reconditioned replacement motor put in my navara after my motor completely seized. However the motor seems to blow white smoke at times. Def not coolant. Smells like diesel. Any idea why? Had the injectors rebuilt too.

Hi Des love the informative videos you post keep them coming please ! It's great to have someone sharing there knowledge. I have a Navara d40 petrol I'm finding a tiny amount of oil( the oil seems blacker then my honey colored engine oil too) in the coolant for the last couple of months but no coolant in oil loss of power or overheating etc . Do you think it could be a faulty oil cooler as opposed to head problems ? Thanks

My mrs k12 1.4 micra linkage on top of gearbox keeps jamming any ideas please you can free it when you push the arm but then it stiffens up again

Hey Mr Yorkshire I have an 2008 Nissan navara it had a fuel pump code changed both suction control valve sensor an rail sensor genuine but every time I come to a stop like in traffic it closes off an when I get it restarted idles rough what could be possible cause off rough idle........ it also shuts off after few mins while there idling

That's few terms repairing hole s the others are welding a nut on the broken bolt. Which by the way south main auto has done along with many others to extract the bolts. One of th e hardest is removing the four sided bolt that'd be for sending unit sensor on block of engine. Aluminum welding is another alternative to damaged threads etc....

Hi Des ... Looks like the owner didn't do much servicing with the glugy or thick oil residue in the cover, let alone in the front of the motor. Are you going to video from actually pulling out the motor to dismantle and rebuild the motor and then re-assemble piece by piece and then refit the motor etc. would be great video content.

Once you see a head that eaten valves in 3 of 6 cylinders then you’ll know what worst possible damage is.

That looks like it’s had regular oil changes NOT!!! People don’t learn regular oil changes with good quality oil and filters make do much difference!!

There's hard times and blatantly conning people, this has been going on for over 10 years with various companies..... It's really great when he abandons garages without paying rent leaving 2 vehicles with no engines or leaves your car with the engine half dismantled in a tesco car park because they got evicted
