How to Repair Damage Particle Board Furniture

In this video I used Polyurethane Topcoat to bind together the damage particle board. It's a kind of super-tough varnish formulated that will bond tightly with one another as it dries that's much more resistant to water. Coated it with all purpose epoxy to minimize and even prevent wear and tear damage. And finally apply it with pvc waterproof self adhesive vinyl sheet.

Not much value if we don’t know what the liquid was that he poured on the bare particleboard. Polyurethane varnish or something mixed with something else? Is it a big secret

Its a two-component polyurethane coatings, which there are two resin packages (often referred to as part A and part B) mixed immediately prior to application.

I learned a few technics. The overlay...using the knife to mak a slit to aid in getting it started on the application was neat. I usually use quick set wood glue as a binder and wood fill or bondo to raise rotted away areas. Thanks

It’s too bad you didn’t use your voice to do the “how to “ portion of fixing the particle board . I think you are using a 2 part epoxy to simply glue it together. I’d really have liked a better video.

Hello! I have a question please! I am renting a house and I have a similar thing to urs that was ruined totally from the top :( It looks like it has a paper sticker on top (this was damaged)! Can I sand the sticker and then stick a similar one on top? Thank you!
